At the San Diego Zoo
Animals don't wear pajamas, but youngsters ages 3–6 can wear theirs when they come to KinderNights at the San Diego Zoo! Each month you'll go on a different animal adventure to learn wonderful things about the creatures you share the Earth with. As you snuggle up with your favorite adult you'll learn lots of neat stuff, nibble on an evening snack, and meet some special critters, all in the comfort of your pj's!
This 90-minute program runs 6:30–8 p.m. Each month features a different theme. See schedule below.
Applications are processed by postmark/fax date. A confirmation letter will be sent to you upon enrollment. If the program you registered for is sold out, your payment will be returned. Sorry, no refunds on cancellations with less than two weeks' notice or on fees less than $30. We retain a $10 cancellation fee per person, per program. Please note that some elements of all classes are subject to change due to weather, animal illness, availability, etc. Prices subject to change without notice.
September: Koala Lou and FriendsMeet a koala and a laughing kookaburra, hear the story of Koala Lou, learn the kookaburra song, and make a special koala snack to eat. |

October: Do You Have a Skeleton?Meet some animals that have a skeleton and some that don't. Build a fun and easy skeleton craft to take home, enjoy a Halloween-themed snack, and laugh along with the story, Funny Bones! |

November: What Color is Camouflage?Meet two snakes: one that has colors for hiding and one with colors easy to see. You'll also greet a rock hyrax, go on a searching safari, and create a colorful camouflage collage! |
