Adopt An Animal: A great way to add a fascinating animal species to your family! Your new "wild child" won't really be coming to live with you, though. Instead, you will become a foster parent of sorts. When you adopt an animal, your gift goes to the animals at the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park for care, feeding, enrichment, and enclosure renovation.
Adopt A Project: The Zoological Society of San Diego is proud to offer this brand-new program that provides individuals with the opportunity to help one of four specific conservation projects we currently are working on. Your contributions from $50 to $10,000 will be applied specifically to the project you choose.

Adopt Our Zoo Babies
Some of the Zoological Society of San Diego newest residents need your help! With every season, new groups of babies are born at the San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. For the most part, the little ones' mothers know exactly what to do and find parenting a breeze. For a smaller number of Zoo babies, for one reason or another (normally the mom or baby is sick), the two need to be separated and we have to raise the little ones at one of our two nurseries.
Caring for our Zoo's nursery babies is a 24-hour-a-day process that requires a lot of support. Through the Zoo's brand-new Adopt Our Zoo Babies program you can play an important role in the lives of these little ones. Donation levels are available from $50 to $5,000. Your donations will help us stock our nurseries with baby bottles small enough to feed a 10-gram meerkat pup, incubators for our primate babies, teething toys for our cheetah cubs, and much, much more.

Which Zoo baby do I choose?
There is no need for you to decide. Your tax-deductible donation will support ALL of the Zoo babies that have called one of our two nurseries home. The screen saver and certificate you receive as donation benefits will have a collage of all of our current youngsters.
